In Stuttgart, The Wa transforms a house through a visual language that recalls the immediacy of a child’s drawing. Saturated colours, schematic windows, doors and decorative shapes alter the way the building is perceived without hiding its original structure.
The intervention belongs to A Kid Could Do It, a series begun in 2021. Its title echoes the familiar phrase “My kid could do that” and turns it into a working principle based on direct, unfiltered visual logic.
The series first developed on military structures and other rigid surfaces. In Stuttgart, the same visual language moves onto a house, shifting the project into an everyday, domestic setting.
The contrast is the key to the work: forms associated with childhood are placed over real architecture, temporarily changing the way it is read. The building does not become something else, but is seen through a different visual code.
